“Shadow” film screening and Q&A (Jacob Burns, Pleasantville)
Evil villains, alien invasions, giant meteors, and….Siri? In the movies, the world always needs saving, usually from Superman or the Avengers, but in “Shadow,” the all-to-real threat of AI meets some unlikely heroes: a group of intellectually disabled activists, holding a meeting to save the world. After the screening, meet the film’s Associate Producer Meret Hassanen in a Q&A.Presented in partnership with the ReelAbilities Film Festival: New York.

Q&A with Jen Sincero, author of “You Are a Badass” (Jacob Burns, Pleasantville)
Calling all badasses and wannabe badasses – here’s your chance to meet author Jen Sincero (who also penned “You Are a Badass at Making Money” and “You Are a Badass Every Day”). Sincero is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the original “Badass” book by signing copies, followed by a Q&A and inspirational talk. Don’t have her book? No problem! A new anniversary edition of her book is included with your ticket purchase.

First Fridays: Willin’ (Bedford Playhouse, Bedford)
Mix ‘70s rock and roll and a teaspoon of soul. Bake at 350 for a lifetime. Top with a few more friends and amazing talent, and you’ve got Willin’. Willin’,one of Westchester’s and Connecticut’s hottest local acts, and an entertaining rock group that playshours of some of the most popular sing-along (and dance-along) music today. Featuring Robin Reitzes (lead singer), Mitch Kalmus (lead guitar and vocals), Jon Reitzes (rhythm guitar and vocals), Kenny Kaufman (bass guitar and vocals) and Jamie Baker (drums & percussion).

Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, Caramoor (Katonah)
Did you know there are different types of ukuleles? Me neither, but George Hinchliffe’s Ukulele Orchestra’s got ‘em all! This group out of Great Britain is actually world-famous for their singing and strumming ukulele players. Featuring Peter Brooke Turner (soprano ukulele), Chris Walker (concert ukulele), Ben Rouse (tenor ukulele), Ewan Wardrop (baritone ukulele), Leisa Rea (soprano ukulele), Laura Currie (concert ukulele) and Dominic Howles (bass ukulele).

Family Day: Pollack Family Learning Center Birthday Celebration (Katonah Museum of Art Katonah)
Help the Katonah Museum of Art celebrate the 25th birthday of the Pollack Family Learning Center at their “Let’s Create” birthday party celebration featuring a fun-filled day with a variety of activities and crafts, food trucks, special guests and more.
