It’s finally spring – chirping birds, blooming flowers, beautiful sunshine and….dry, limp hair. Thanks winter, we owe you one.

After several months of dry air, icy winds, snow in your face and static clingy wool hats, your hair has taken a beating. It’s dehydrated, prone to breakage, frizzy, and just generally rough. But lucky for you, Madi Tiso-D’Aquanni, owner of the Hair Wharf in Katonah, is here to return your once-beautiful locks to their former glory.

“The cold weather really does a lot of damage to your hair,” says Tiso-D’Aquanni. “But I do have a few secrets that work wonders for me and my clients if used regularly in these early spring days!”

Add moisture and shine with Saints & Sinners

Using a sulfate-free shampoo is better for your hair and the environment. But with Saints & Sinners, you’re also guaranteed smoother, shinier locks for your chemically treated, overheated (read: daily blow-drys), dry, unruly hair. As a bonus (or a must, depending on your personal preferences), their products are 100% vegan and cruelty-free.

Feed your hair with milk_shake

Here us out on this one.

milk_shake products are made with natural ingredients like milk protein and fruit extracts, designed to transform dull, dry hair into beautiful, healthy locks. Plus, between the “decadent textures” and their “iconic fragrances” it seems like you’re indulging in an extravagant dessert every time you lather up.

Olaplex = liquid gold

What else can we say about Olaplex, but buy it now. Right now. Seriously, what are you waiting for?

Olaplex’s long-standing reputation as the king of hair repair is well-deserved. While all their products are great, No 3 is a well-known favorite for repairing your hair.

Pro tip: Use No. 0 before No. 3 to save yourself a bit of cash.

Hey man, Reuzel’s got you covered

Men – if you’ve read this far, thank you. As a reward for your patience, this one’s for you.

Leen and Bertus would like nothing more than to give you the perfect haircut. But since they can’t be everywhere at once, they’ve done the next best thing: created products just for men. Even better, they have videos. Want a perfect quiff and beard, they’ve got you covered. Prefer a skater look, there are a few demos to choose from. Justin Bieber circa 2018, a “pomp,” or even long locks – yup, they’ll show you how to do that, too.

Grab their products, watch their videos and feel the heads turn as you walk down the street. You can thank us later.
