Looking for a few new accessories for your home? Ready to update your fall wardrobe? Longing for a beautiful piece of jewelry? Great news – back by popular demand, Bedford Village is holding its second sidewalk sale in three months! This Friday and Saturday (September 9th & 10th), from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., these early fall sales have got you covered. Here’s a sample of what you’ll find in some of your favorite stores.

Jewelry & crafts

Have you seen the Odette Outpost in The Bedford Store on Old Post Road? Not only does it carry Odette New York signature jewelry, but the shop also features goods by artisan makers including MCMC Fragrances, Peacesake candles, Parson Brown, Upstate Diary, Sisters Body and more.

This weekend, they’re selling select jewelry and candles, sarongs, home goods, straw bags, etc. at up to 50 percent off. Plus, don’t forget to take a look at some of their newest arrivals, including their collaboration with ceramicist Fernanda Pereira Witdorchic – a handmade ring dish embossed with a carving of the Bedford Oak.

Everything you need for your home

Tucked around the corner off of Old Post Road, is one of our favorites, La Maison Fete. The owners have an incredible eye, and we rarely leave their shop empty handed. Stop in for some incredible sales, and by incredible we mean 50 percent off!

Items from Amanda Lindroth’s Rattan Collection will be on sale as well as select clothing from MIRTH and Cara Cara. There’s stemless glassware, pictures, candles, trays, hand woven placemats, printed and solid napkins, napkin rings, and more.

Fill your belly and deck out your kitchen

Has all that shopping left you a bit peckish? Stop by G.E. Brown for a snack (or another meal – we won’t judge). While you’re at it, check out the goods on sale. You’ll find beautiful plates, cool glassware, a variety of serving platters, porcelain spoons, candles and more.

Follow the Yellow Brick Road

Have you heard? Bedford Playhouse is hosting an epic movie night. On October 8, the Playhouse’s Yellow Brick Road Festival will feature a BBQ buffet, activities, crafts, contests and prizes, specialty drinks and, of course The Wizard of Oz on their gigantic 40-foot screen! Stop by the Playhouse to learn more about the festival and their other fall events.

And that’s not all…

Bedford’s sidewalk sale features incredible deals from many more of your local favorites. Intrigued? Stop by for a few minutes (or a few hours) and check out the sales!
