During this time of great need in our District and around Westchester County, we are committed to helping healthcare workers and first responders continue to do their jobs. Along with other districts in Westchester County, we hope to open our doors to provide childcare for children (ages 5-12) of healthcare workers and first responders (police, fire, EMS, corrections officers and all public health workers) who have no other childcare options.

Those who would like to participate will be required to provide proof of employment when registering. The service is available to all County residents and to those healthcare workers and first responders who live outside Westchester County but work in the County. The service is provided whether your child attends a private school or a public school.

We are still determining how this program will operate. Our intended hours of operation are from 8am – 6pm five days a week. We hope to provide additional details to those who register, just as soon as those details have been determined.

For now, if you think you qualify for this service, please email [email protected]. In the email, please include the following information:

Your name
The names and ages of the children you plan to register
The days and hours you anticipate needing childcare
Your employer
A way for us to verify your employment

Please remember that this opportunity is only available to those who fit categories designated for us by the County and the State and availability is pending the determined need.
